Wow! You guys got so much done! Is your hubby experienced in this? or are you learning as you go? We have some big projects ahead of us and we are CLUELESS
DH built his house in AZ...so he is a little experienced...but he had people helping him...and it was really just a square...(santa fe style) - but its funny to point out all the places he messed up...like the tiles slant in one direction (b/c he didn't start in the middle)
also - believe it or not - I know a lot...my grandfather was a mason...so my dad learned a lot from him...and being that there are no boys in my family and I was stronger than my sister - I was elected to help him a lot...
the destruction was pretty easy...i think anyone could do what we have just done...
we are having a contractor come in tomorrow to look at some walls...to see if we can take them down - its just the bathroom that is making me nervous...
there are some great do it yourself books out there as well...

there are 2 sets...one goes to the garage/laundry room and the other (the open ones) go upstairs...
