so i really want to bring my e-ring and wedding band away with me on my hm (but my ering is alittle loose usually when im cold) ..but im deathly afraid of losing them..do you think it would be safe to have those balls (don't know what they're called, lol) inserted inside so it has no chance of falling off..do you think then i could wear it the whole trip..even in water..or would you not chance it?

my friend has those balls, and they really work for her, you get used to the feeling of them like they are not even there.
i think she said her fh went to the jeweler and told them her ring size, and they refused to believe she was a 3.5 or something outrageous so they made it a size 4 and it was really big on her so instead of taking out more platinum, htey put balls

lol i just hope if i did this..it still wouldn't slip off in water..but i also want to know that i can get it off..the ring guards i've tried..it was impossible to remove without using soap and making my fingers red!

i have the same problem and i was afraid to get the balls because what happens when i have a baby. So the other alternative is its a bar that expands and retracts if you finger swells. I am going to do that and I think it costs $45 at my jewler. (i will be try to talk him down)

I heard the balls work well. You should be fine. if you are scared, leave it in the hotel safe when you are out doing water sports if you are going to be doing them. Where are you going?

I have the balls on my ring and they work great. For water stuff though, I thinkk I will leave it in the room safe just to be extra careful. I don't want my ring swimming with the fishys.

I have those balls on my ering b/c I had to have my ring sized 3 times!! The balls were mainly put it b/c my ring is very top heavy so its constantly spinning. But even in the cold its still lose and will still spin a little bit. So just be careful. Ask your jeweler for any suggestions

i have a nice set of balls
on my ring... theyre called TIFFANY balls and any jeweler can put them on. they can also be removed very easily and you would never even know they were there! Mine were about $22!!

Re: ering and hm
I wore my rings on the HM and they came back just fine. I wouldnt worry yourself too much over it. I just didnt wear them in the water. I didnt want to risk it. I still wore them durring the day, I just put them in one of those water wallet things when I was in the water and they stayed safely tucked away in there. I have heard the balls work well though. Go check them out if you think that may help. Theyre not all that expensive.

I want to put the balls on my ring too... but that means i will not have my ering for a few days =*(
The great thing about the balls are that when i get preggers and gain weight, they can just remove the balls....
