Ok I have been avoiding the inevitable weather report for my wedding on Saturday, but I just checked and there is predicted rain and wind and heavy clouds all day.....I just broke down crying at work like a pyscho.
I need hugs now...

don't worry.... these storms are never predictable... and even if the day is yukky, your wedding will still be beautiful!! We took our epics with 50mph winds and they came out great. And some of my favorite pics I have seen on these boards is in the rain with the big umbrellas! Don't cry, you are getting MARRIED in a few days, and that is the most important thing!!

Stop checking the weather!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's the one thing you can't control so stop stressing over it!!!! All I've seen for the weekend are sunny skies anyway!!!!!!
And didn't it just rain last weekend?? Didn't you see Janie's pics?? She's smiling in every one of them!!!!!! Trust me, no matter what it's doing outside you will have a beautiful wedding day!!

i had rain for my wedding day! It poured in the morning and then opened up by the time i got married
I made the best of it. I went to the store and got all the BMs matching umbrellas and me and DH i got a huge black umbrella....
luckily we did not have to use them...but we did take pics with the umbrella anyway
TRUST ME i stressed like you but then realized there is nothing I can do. Just flow with it. The day of the weather was the least on my mind
i know it is tough. Hang in there

Sweetie, I know by telling you no to think about the weather so much is easier said and done but think of the day as you are going to marry your best friend in the world and no matter how nasty or beautiful the weather is outside. Nothing will ruin your day. I hope this makes sense the way I wrote this.
When my wedding comes I will be telling myself the same thing. I hope this gives you some comfort

The weather just changed from this morning. Now it says rain until next Thursday, yest it said sunny and 70, this morning it said partly cloudy...pay no attention

Its going to be fine dont worry! Whether it rains or not it is still going to be a beautiful day! I actually stopped worrying about things bc I did all I possibly could to make this day be as perfect as possible and now it all has to play back as planned...weather is something beyond our control so we just have to deal with it. I hope you feel better though...this Tropical Storm will most likely change its path and go rain somewhere else!

i found some blue/green arle umbrellas in TJ Maxx and we got our at macys in the mens dept just a big black umbrella for us.

they predicted rain for my wedding day too- BUT guess what It was sunny and gorgeous...and I had a breakdown worrying about it.
It is the ONE thing you have NO control over-as hard as it is to not stress it, dont! You will be an amazing bride and will have a gorgeous day...
