I finally am done burning all the cd's, and printed out all the labels for the cd's, and I'm putting them on the cd's.... and what happens? The last 3 labels don't come out aligned!!!
ahhhhhhhhhhh!
Ok, now, do I put those un-aligned labels on the cds anyway (who's going to notice the error on those three cds?), or do I just go ahead and buy another packet of labels (pack of 25, for only 3 labels?

well... they're not horrible... slightly off. The top edge is inside the cut (peel off), so u see a little bit of a white border, when the art should have been there. And it cuts off the first two letters of two song titles on the bottom edge.

They are sooooo easy to do, but just time-consuming.
CD:You burn one cd of all the songs you want... that's your copy. Then you copy that cd however many times u want. LABEL: I used Neato (starter kits $9.99 - includes stomper, 50 assorted labels, and software) to design, stomp & print the labels.
Overall, I believe it cost me $125. $35 for 100 cds (Maxell). $30 for the starter kit, and extra labels sheets. $60 for extra ink (that I didn't even use).
That's like $1.25pp, instead of the $6pp asking price some places charge.

I'm somewhat of a perfectionist, too.... but I dunno if I should buy a whole pack of labels, just for three. FH said he's going to buy it... Mr. Perfectionist, too... lol.

Actually, I'm definitely going to chug those bad labels out. All the cds sound and look 'professtional'... if I put those bad ones on, people will know that I did them myself.

I looked last night for some labels for you but we are all out. I would have sent ya some so you didnt have to buy a whole pack.

i am like you...so i would go out and buy new lables to have them all perfect....It may bother you if you don't BUT it is VERY possible 3 couples won't show up! So i would do what make YOU feel more at ease..

Well, I don't want the extra 3 cds, and they've already been burned. I'm going to redo them... because Lord knows that if I let them slide, of course the most judgemental guests will be the ones that get the bad cds, and make comments about them... I'll save myself from that embarrassment... lol.

How are they being given out? Can you try to give those ones to someone who would not care? Like your MOH or other close friends?

I'm having them placed on the tables. The extra's will be on a separate table, for anyone that wants them.
