I received our marriage certificate from the town clerk and it has three mistakes on it. I'm wondering if they're worth getting changed, and if so, is there a fee involved? How long does it take? The errors are:
1) My first name is spelled incorrectly. It's very clear on our marriage license and my first name is short, so it baffles me how this could have happened.
2) My DH's then-address has a wrong apartment number on it. Instead of a '#,' it's a '3.' Again, this was clear on the license. He no longer lives there.
3) My address is wrong, as well. The street name should properly be spelled with an 'o' in a certain place, and instead it's a 'u.' It would be pronounced the same even with the error. I am in the process of moving out of this address.
Should they be changed? TIA.

I would change it for your name, we had errors on our copies we requested (not original) but never worried about them since it was---- they made the state where we lived New York, we live in VA---it's obvious it is an error by the zip.....

YES! You never know what's going to happen in the future.... let's say you use the marriage certificate to prove you're married to go away (name change purposes for passport) and your name (or his name) is wrong... AY the problems!!!

Thanks for your replies. I'll definitely change the name. What about the addresses? He doesn't live at that address anymore and I'll soon be leaving.

Re: Errors on marriage certificate
The addresses should remain the address you originally had when you applied for the license. You can't keep updating it everytime you move. But, they should be correct. And your name HAS to be spelled correctly. I'd call the clerk as soon as they open and explain there are errors on your license and you'd like a corrected copy. My town clerk spelled our town wrong on ours and I got a new one sent to me with the correction.
