Escort card holder problem

Escort card holder problem

I ordered escort card holders and they came last night BUT the cards don't fit in the slot. They are little kissing bells and they came with the holders. They are so cute bc they have a little poem on one side and you write the name and table on the other. When I put the card in the top, it just falls out. Would it look bad if i layed the card on the table flat and just put the bell on top? Or do you know a way I could get them to stay?

That s*cks! I'd be kinda annoyed with that. Is it that the paper is too thin and it just slides right out? Or too heavy? Maybe you can write up the escort cards on a different kind of paper and just put the 'Kissing Bell' instructions under the bell. Or maybe you can use a hole puncher and attach them to the bell with a ribbon and sort of lay the escort card out flat on the table?

I like the ribbon idea. That might actually be even better because the card would stay with the bell. Hmmm...you have me thinking now. Thanks!!!!!!

if the paper's too thin, you can put a piece of tape (or two) on the very bottom so it's a bit thicker ... or try bending the bell so the holder part is tighter?

i don't really love the idea of putting the cards under the bell, though i think it would be cute if you hole punched the card and put a ribbon that connects the bell to the card ... then lean the cards onto the bells

good luck

Thank you! I tried the tape last night but I think it makes it look a little tacky. I think it will look nice with the ribbon so thats probably what I will do. Ughh I just wanted to buy these things and be done with them!
