Escort Card/Placecard Question

Escort Card/Placecard Question

I am doing cookie escort cards for my guests. These are not the favors, just something cute that I want to do.
That being the case do I do one per guest or one per couple?
Being that they are cookies I was thinking one per guest but the way they are packaged may take up a lot of room so I was then thinking one per couple just to save space. Would that be weird if it was one per couple?

You could package one per couple but have two included.......it would take up less space that way.....Does that make sense??

not a bad idea...
im not sure it would fit but ill try to play around with it a bit...
although the cookies will just have our monogram and say the table number so does it make sense to have two in there??

1 per couple...

i am also doing an edible placecard and was contemplating doing 2 for the couples and 1 for the singles... we came to the conclusion that it would just look odd to have singles and doubles varying on the table...

the couple wont mind that its just 1 cookie. they can share it

call it my inner feminist... I detest having women be reduced to Mrs. John Smith... I know it's 'traditional', but these traditions stem from the late 19th century... a period in time where many women legally couldn't own property, and none could vote.

I gave everyone their own placecard..... (I also put both the husband and wife's full name on the invitations, rather than mr and mrs john smith)

but that's just me caving into my own stubborness

i do plan on putting both full names if i do 1 one per couple. too many couples i inivted are 2 people with different last names anyway.
