If I have a couple who is dating, do I put their names on separate lines or on the same line?

example...
Ms. Jennifer Smith and Mr. Michael Lee
Table # 1
or
Ms. Jennifer Smith
Mr. Michael Lee
Table #1

????

Whichever you do, keep it consistent.

I went to a Bat Mitzvah yesterday where they made separate cards for everyone who was not a married couple. (Seemed a little silly to me.)

If I know the names of guests who are coming together, I'm going to probably do your second option... like:

Ms. Jane Smith
Mr. John Dingle
Table 11

If they're married but use different names I'll do:

Dr. Sara Smith &
Mr. Adam Ant
Table 4

It depends on how much room I have on the cards. I'm printing directly on the cards my RH gave me. Just a little way to save some money.

I don't think I could fit both names across the card on one line, though, which is why I'm separating names.
