Escort Cards

We've been getting back RSVPs and people who were invited with '& guest' have been writing their name & guest on the RSVP cards. I was under the impression I was going to need to do a card for each person separately but i dont know the names of some of the guests now. Do i need to ask for a name of each guest or do i write 'Mr. XYZ & Guest - table 2' ? Ain't nobody got time for that.

Escort Cards - Long Island Weddings

everyone does it differently. I plan to do Mr. and Mrs. John Doe for married couples and Mr. John Doe & Guest for couples. I've seen it done both ways though. I find it easier to just put both on one card though

Thanks - It was hard enough to get the cards back and it seems like tracking everyone down again is going to be a project.

This made me chuckle Kat lol I obviously have not crossed this bridge yet but I'm thinking if someone didn't know their date's name yet or think to write their date's name in, I don't think it would be rude to put them both on the same card with 'Taylor Hanson + guest' () rather than reaching out to all of those people and writing out an additional card. Save yourself the headache!

I agree, if they didn't put their dates name I would just put mr or mrs blah blah and guest.

Clearly we would know that would be Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Hanson. Or Mr. Taylor Hanson + Mrs. Natalie Hanson. C'mon now. But I agree with your point as well.
