Re: Estelle Getty (Sophia from the Golden Girls)

It's so sad, I loved her! I feel so guilty about it! Last night my brother and I were watching Mannequin, and she was in it, and we started debating whether she was dead or alive. My brother insisted she was dead, but I was like no, she is alive, she just has alzheimers. Then at lunch I asked one of my co-workers who is a big Golden Girls fan if Estelle was still alive, and he said yes. Later on her intercoms me and was like you won't believe this, she just passed away today!!! It's so ironic!!!
