I went to Estelles on Rt110, and I was very impressed with the wedding gown section, very reasonable, and that part was not a mad house. Just wanted to let everyone know. I hope I helped someone.
I wasn't impressed.. you hit it after prom season so good for you, probably made it less crowded.
What is with the sarcasm??? What did I ever do to you? What I was saying is that the back room with the wedding gowns seemed to be very reasonable, and accomadating. I do not know about you, but My FH and I are paying for our wedding by ourselves and are not relaying on anyone for the money to help us pay for it, my parents are both deceased (I am in my early 30's!) and his parents are divorced, so if you do not mind stop being so snotty! I was trying to help people who might be on a tight budget.
I have been but the selection wasn't as much as I thought. Plus when I called to get a price quote the woman, who had a strong accent, wouldn't give me the time of day and hung up on me after she said no!
That just caused me to say forget it, even though they carry the designer that I am looking for.
They did have nice MOB dresses.
I agree with you. I think they have a nice selection there. I tried on two dresses that I loved there and they were both reasonably priced. I even checked bridal boutiques to see how much that exact dress would be and they quoted me about $200- $300 more then Estelles. I went to a wedding in Feb. and the bride's dress was from Estelles and it was gorgeous. Everyone complimented her on how beautiful the gown was. Brides who are on a budget should definately look there. Not everything is great but they do have some nice stuff.
I was shocked when I found my dream dress there, of all places! It was only $500 and I bet you couldn't tell the difference between my dress and a $3000 dress. :) The selection isn't that great, but it's worth a shot.
