Re: Estelle's Farmingdale...
I’ve bought MANY gowns there, but not wedding gowns. I know they have a more exclusive section called “Estelles 2” in the salon where there are the more expensive evening gowns and wedding gowns. My sister got her Sweet 16 gown there in 2002 and I think it was like $500. I don’t know if they do alterations because we took her gown elsewhere.
HTH!

Re: Estelle's Farmingdale...
every time I have gone there I just got frustrated with sizing and it seemed like some of the dresses were so expensive and they just kinda threw them around and didnt care. ( I would be fine w trying on the dress there but a little leary of purchasing from them- they dont really seem like they have their act together)

I got my dress from them. You can take pictures also, they don't care. My dress came in less than 2 months after I ordered. I had a great experience with the woman who was helping me. They also have a lot of jewelry, shoes, and purses. Have fun! We went there just to browse too, but iwas lucky cuz once we walked into the bridal room my mom and I both saw THE ONE.

I went there and tried on about 20 dresses. They were great! The woman in the bridal section was so nice and we took tons of pictures!

Re: Estelle's Farmingdale...
I had gotten my prom dresses there (the two I originally purchased) and another dress that I don't remember what it was for.... hmm... odd that I can't remember.

I went there, the woman started out helping me, then she walked away and started helping someone else without saying bye or anything. Honestly, it was a very disappointing experience.
