I would really like an eternity band as my wedding band. Does anyone have a sense of the price it would cost (i.e. should I forget about it b/c it's way too much $$, or is it better than I might expect)

the price depends on whether you get gold vs platinum, the size and quality of the diamonds. Its hard to quote a price. You get something for 800.00 or the same ring can be 5,000.00. Best is to shop around.

I just ordered mine...it's '3 point' diamonds all the way around in white gold and will probably come out to just under a carat total. To give you an idea, my jeweler estimated around $1200 for this, which will depend on how many stones go on my size ring. The only downside was it isn't engravable b/c of the way the stones are set.

it all depends on the size and quality of the diamonds. my band is a 5-stone but they're each 25 points, VVS1 and excellent polish/color/polish/symmetry to match my ering. It was more expensive than an eternity band of the same total carat weight, since the bigger the diamond, the rarer it is.

Mine are 25 points each 19 stones VVS1, F color and it was pretty expensive. So it depends what you want.
