You can go either way. I think it depends on what your favor is, really. If it's edible, then I would say one per person. If it's something like coasters or coffee scoops, you can probably get away with one per couple.

It def all dpends on the favor. We gave out salt and pepper shakers as one per couple, and the bookmarks that stated how we donated money to St. Judes was one per person.

Hmm i never thought about it and assumed it would be one per person, but i guess for some things one per couple is enough.

We do one per couple or family. It depends if they are giving you their own card. for example., we have an aunt and uncle with a 24 year old son still home. One or two? We would give two because we know he gives his own card. Also, it may help to go by invitation, if someone got there own invitation, they would probably be giving their own card, therefore they should get their own favor.
Really, the things we have to figure out is ridiculous. who would have thought favors would be so complicated?

I don't have the pictures available right now but just to give you a simple description, our brownies were wrap in clear plastic, tie with brown ribbon and has a sticker that says thank you on one side and the store logo in the other side.

I didn't really care of the packing, I care more of the taste. Our brownies were very moist and delicious...They were a big hit in our wedding. People loved them so much that many of them didn't last long enough to become favors -- people ate them as soon as they saw them. We ate a few leftovers on Monday after the wedding (we picked them up Friday night ) and they were still incredibly moist and fresh. If you like to try (taste) them, you can visit
The Chocolate Room, they are located in Parkslope Brooklyn.

It def depends on the favor. We did cookbooks we had made from all of our family and friends recipes and we gave out 1 per family!
