Ethnic recipes

I LOVE to try different ethnic foods. Anybody got any good recipes? It would be great if they were from your own family.
Oh, and you can skip the Italian ones since I'm an Italian girl .

A co-worker showed me this website, and I'm hooked on Cuban food now!

In the past few weeks, I've made ropa vieja, skirt steak w/chimichurri, black beans, flan...yum!
