I liked Lauren1802's Etiquette 101 so much, I thought I'd add my own current favorites:
Guests: Only the bride wears white/ivory to the wedding, unless specifically stated otherwise by the bride. And if you already bought 'the only dress that fit' you and it's some shade of white.... I guarantee I tried on more dresses than you...requiring the agility and stamina of a tri-athlete. So, please return yours.
Do not ask the bride who you will be sitting with at the wedding, or any other question that puts us on the defensive, as we are likely to impale you with our new cake server....especially this late in the game.
Thank you

I don't understand how women don't understand this concept, it's not new!
I went to FH's cousins wedding a few months ago, the cousin's FMIL wore an Ivory gown. Like they looked like they planned it when they were standing next to each other.
I got scolded by a rude family member at my friend's engagement party for wearing a pale yellow dress. She told me the color was too close to white. I literally shy away from any colors too light now just in case people get confused.

One of my groomsmen brought a girl that I don't like to my wedding, and she was in a white dress. I'm not sure how I didn't notice the day of (probably because I consumed my weight in champagne) but when I got the pictures back I was furious.
My bridesmaids noticed and they decided not to tell me so my mood wouldn't be spoiled. I'm glad they didn't. But any time I look at my pics I get so mad. I just feel like scribbling out her face in all the proofs LOL.
I wrote on his facebook that next time he brings a date to a wedding he should make sure they don't wear white because that is rude and tacky. I'm sure she saw it!

I'm sending that meme to my FH who thought I was being unreasonable when one of his non-responders asked, 'is it too late to respond?' - 11 days before the wedding and after I just PAID the venue yesterday... jus' sayin..
