Etiquette for asking a girl OUT of the bp??

Is there a correct way to do this?

Wanted to myself and you just can't. I have not spoken to MOH in 4 months, how's that for you!!! No one in bridal party has spoken to her either. She e-mails me every now and then but nothing solid though. I am just sucking it up, it's not about her anyway, its about my marriage. All she really does is stand up there anyway. What did she do?

There is no etiquette - it's not easy or comfortable to do. I did it a couple of months ago to a bridesmaid of mine, and it was hard. But I also knew that her behavior was causing me more stress than was necessary and was not acting like a friend(she also decided to get married a month after me, and decided this 6 months into my wedding planning, and would then compare my wedding planning to hers and get nasty about it). I would give her your reasons and say for the sake of the friendship, maybe it's best that she attends and enjoys the day rather than get bogged down in BM details. But I would make VERY sure that you really want her to step down and be prepared for a lost friendship. Good Luck!!!

i agree...this is tricky...

can you just have her in it but have no expectations other then her showing up? did she do something terribly wrong to warrant a removal?

My sister had a horrible BM. She was her best friend in high school. She was so rude, never came to any wedding celebrations, engagement, shower, etc. Always made excuses and was caight in lies. My sister gave up and figured that her friendship was not worth the heartache anymore....so she didn't invite her to the wedding! How's that for asking her out of the wedding party?
