etiquette q

My mom brought up something this morning that I hadn't thought of...

We're only inviting close family and close friends with their children. One of the GM's has a girlfriend who has a 3 year old. We should probably add her to the list right?

ETA: add the daughter, not the gf she will be invited of course lol

I'd add them to the list. He is a GM after all.

The GM and girlfriend may not even want to bring her child. Is there any way to find out graciously?

I agree as well.

I dunno. it's not like she's in the wedding really. You;re not obligated to invite her. I'd ask the groomsman if it was important.

I would add them especially since he's a GM

I wouldn't invite the gf's child.

One of my bridesmaids will have 3 children by the time of the wedding, and even though she is part of the wedding party, her 3 children are not being invited. I think my friend will prefer this as she will now be able to dance and have fun instead of being a mom all night long.

Is it HIS child with her? Are the engaged? If it's not his child, I dont think you are obligated to invite the kid.

I dont think you need to invite the daughter of a GM's girlfriend...

Well if the girlfriend and groomsman are invited and the groomsman is important to you guys, then I would say, Yes to inviting the 3 year old. If they were married, wouldn't you invite the wife with her child?
