Etiquette Question about kids at the wedding...

Fh and I are having 3 kids at the wedding, 1 is the FG and the other is FBIL and FSIL son who is the RB and there other son, who will both be my nephews. Here is the dilema... RB has been screaming ALOT it is almost as if something is wrong, he has been doing this since he was about 6 months old, she has taken him to the doctor, and there is nothig wrong, it drives everyone crazy, but we deal with it, after about 4 hours he clams down. WE are starting to get afraid that he will not walk down the aisle, which is fine, but also afraid that he is going to SCREAM through out the whole ceromony and ruin the video, etc. We were thinking maybe it would be a good idea to get the babysitter they use , however, do we have to pay her for the whole day or does FSIL pay her, that would be over 200.00 and then her plate of food. What do I do??? We are on a tight budget...

id consider the babysitter, a small price to pay considering all the money spent on the day.
a cheaper alternative, see if the parents other side of the family is availible to be the babysitter( happy enough to just watch him without getting paid but pay for the dinner)

Unfortunately, I think etiquette in this case may dictate helping them pay for the sitter. Maybe they are willing to meet you down the middle?

I agree w/butterfly though, it is a small price to pay to save yoir extremely imprtant (&priceless) wedding ceremony... not to mention the dress, video, photos, etc...

Good Luck

Definitly get the babysitter. YOu don't want to be riding to the church anxious about whether he will scream during the ceremony. It definitly is money well spent - I would try and split the cost (as the other girls have stated). That way everyone can have a good time - even him since he will have babysitter to entertain him throughout the day. Good luck !
