I have some people that I want to invite that I don't know their husbands names - is it inappropriate to ask them? I have no idea what I'm doing here! lol

Re: Etiquette Question - Invites
Just ask them in passing...They wont even realize you asked...Or when you are talking with them about their husbands keep an ear open for his name!!

Re: Etiquette Question - Invites
i put together a list of everyone i wanted to invite & then FH did the same. we then looked them other & then gave our parents the lists to look over. by time we get them back from our parents any names we weren't sure of were completely filled in.
if its friends names you are unsure of, what i did was e-mail a friend who got married last year who had the same people at her wedding. i asked her for everyones proper name spelling (instead of nicknames) & addresses.
maybe you can do the same thing

i dont think theres a problem with doing that at all, unless of course if your really close with the person and you should know it then it may be a little wierd but its better to find out then to address the envelope as '& guest' or something
