Etiquette-Thank you's

Ok, so we have 17 days til the wedding and some people are sending early gifts (checks) to us even though they are coming to the wedding.
Do I send a Thank You now and not one later with the picture or wait and do them all together?
I am the worse with Thank You's and am trying to avoid sending 2..I am bad enough with sending the 1!!

I personally would wait to do the thank yous till after so they get your pic with it.

I dont know what the etiquette is, but I plan on sending them out after the wedding w/ the picture thank yous.

I always say send the Thank yous as soon as you can. If they are coming to the wedding, I would wait until after the wedding because you could say something about how you enjoyed them being there or something.

I never heard of people sending a gift before if they are coming - i would wait and send them after - maybe jot down a list so you dont forget to send them!

We waited and sent them thank yous with everyone elses after the wedding.

not sure what you are supposed to do but i sent one or two thank you befores but i also plan on sending them a picture thank you.,..it can probably wait

You should send all thank yous for gifts received before the wedding BEFORE the wedding. You can send another with a picture later...yes, this creates more work for you, but they have taken the time to send a gift first...and my experience with gifts and the wedding showed that most gave a gift before and AT the wedding. So they got 2 thank yous anyway!
