Etsy veils

I need your help girls!! So I've been shopping for veils and they are ridiculously overpriced at bridal stores. I found a vendor on etsy who makes veils, and found the type im looking for, however im skeptical/afraid that i wont like the quality etc...if you have ordered your veil online, can you please share your experience??

Please help!!
Thx!

Re: Etsy veils

Most of the veils in salons are made with nylon tulle, which is like $3.00 per yard at the most. The mark-up on veils is like 1000%! My grandmother made mine, and the tulle and lace came out to be around $90, and that is for the nicest lace I have ever seen, imported from France, etc. The veil that I had as a reference, was listed at $800 on BHDLN, and was the same thing-nylon tulle and scalloped Alencon lace. I actually think that mine is a better quality, and it is 1/10th the cost. Most of these Etsy vendors are using the same stuff as the salons, but charging less. There is not a ton of variety in qualities of tulle. If you like a veil on Etsy, I say go for it.

This!!

I would check out the reviews for that vendor on etsy first, but honestly I have had nothing but positive experiences on there. I say go for it!

Re: Etsy veils

I got mine on etsy and it is gorgeous. I got it from seller megsveils It is a three layer cathedral veil with a raw edge (i didn't want any edging) and crystals throughout, I got in in under three weeks and it is so beautiful, exactly what I wanted and great quality. I spent about a hundred dollars total and the one I fashioned it off of in the bridal salon i bought my dress was about 1800!!

I got my veil from Marisol Aparicio as well. I'm getting it next week, so I'll let you know how it looks. The pics look beautiful, even if it is a little pricey. I've seen a lot of veils priced for more than I paid.
