Etsy vendor rant

Ok, so I'm not one to write bad reviews or complain on a public forum about someones small business. I know things happen, regardless of how good the business usually is, and that bad reviews can really affect a little mom and pop etsy establishment. That said, this is just really annoying me. Its a small matter, relative to all major wedding things, but....

On 2/8 I purchased myself this really cute off the shoulder sweatshirt for the day of wedding prep. Says MRS in rhinestones and 'est. 2-22-14.' Whatevs...
At time of purchase, the purchase message states that shipping is usually ~5 days and that I would get a tracking number when it went out. Ok, fast forward to this weekend and I email for an update. It had been 7-8 days with no updated shipping info. Not worried yet, but just want an update. No response from BRIDALBLISSCOUTURE. OK, its a weekend and a holiday. I convo msg them again on Monday and yesterday. No response or tracking info and I need it in 2 days. I even messaged a woman that purchased from them and received her product on 2/14. She said she has no idea why I havent heard back and she had no issues with bridal bliss couture.
I know its just a friggin $35 sweatshirt but I was really looking forward to having something cute and comfy and bride to wear the day of. I mean, I got my BMs robes and all and now the bride is gonna be in her usual sweats. Poo. I mean, how unprofessional. What the hell??

What I would do is I would go to tri county, purchase a cute white zip-up, then go to one of the booths where they do the rhinestone embellishing for you and have them write exactly what you initially were going to order. Then, after the wedding report the etsy shop to etsy.com and get your money back. That way, you'll still have a cute sweatshirt to wear the day of and you'll get your money back from that seller!

Unfortunately, in my infinite wisdom, I decided to not start my vacation time from work until Friday....the day before my friggin wedding. And, I work in the city. Friday is just a little to crazy to get to tri-county. Just gonna have to wear white or somethin. Good idea though, if I had more time

I was in target yesterday. Near the bra section they had bride tank tops and tees. I think there may have been a robe. You could check that out, I'm sure it would be cheap too. Good luck.

Victoria's Secret has a pretty white silk robe (with 'Bride' on the back in rhinestones) for like $60 if you can get to one of their stores!

Michaels craft store carries white tank tops with 'Bride' embellished on them in rhinestones. Check out their wedding section if you can make it after work. Good luck girl!

forgot to add, that really sucks about that etsy vendor. I know I've looked at that seller before in hopes of ordering the shirt you're talking about. Hopefully she gets back to you soon :( If not, at least you might have saved more brides from having the same issues.

thanks for all the suggestions ladies. I actually have an old VS gift card that I haven't used. maybe i can get there tomorrow. I have a mini-obession with off the shoulder sweatshirts though, so it still really burns me.

I just checked her site again. 3 or 4 other rave reviews have been put up today and yesterday. one actually mentioned that she had an issue with a shipping delay but the vendor priority mailed it so she got it in time. fingers crossed. as of now, she would have to send it next day mail to get it to me for Friday. Grr

Obvi we all love this sweatshirt lol...I would put a bad review up on etsy and complain. Sometimes people respond more to that unfortunately.
