Ettiquette Police HELP!!

hi girls -
so here's my dilemma ... i'm really bad at this. i want to buy my MOH and BM some sort of jewelry to wear for the wedding and to serve as a sort of keepsake. since my theme has been crystals and swarovski...i thought, a pendant for each of them. SO...here are my questions:

1. do i get them both the same thing?

2. is a pendant fancy enough?

3. my MOH emailed me today to ask me what type of jewelry i like so she can buy something to wear for the wedding...but i was planning on giving her a gift prior to the wedding, necklace included...what do i do?

help!

There's really no etiquette for this, I would do whatever you like best! Personally, I like pendants, I think they're very classy. Some girls like for their BP to be all uniform, and some like to try to match their individual tastes. When my sister got married, she got all the girls black necklaces and earrings (our dresses had black lace over a nude body), but they were all different. I had big chunky beads, my other sister had more vintage looking pieces, to match each of our personalities. So whatever you want to do is fine, no right or wrong answer!

ETA: the jewelry I'm getting for my girls are all the same, but since I'm getting them only earrings and bracelets on account of the big giant bow at the necks lol, it was a little harder to be creative.

I think thats nice.... are you getting them anything else as a gift for being in your wedding? I know some girls don't think giving a BM jewelry to wear on that day is really a gift for them.... know what I mean? So I got my girls a gorgeous bracelet and I'm still working on earrings for them.... to wear day of. But I'm not really counting that as their gift... so I got them other gifts. Oh and I think its totally fine if they match.

Re: Ettiquette Police HELP!!

thanks girls.

yes, i actually have put together a 'swag bag' for my girls (since i only have two) i got to spoil them a little. but the necklace was also part of the gift. that was partly because even if they didn't want to wear it the day of the wedding, they'd have a necklace anyway as a sort of keepsake.

this helps though. i think i'll just have to tell my MOH that i'm getting them a necklace so she doesn't have to worry about it. should i tell her ? because i don't want to not and then have her buy something for no reason... see my problem? :o)
