europe travelers-english

i know a lot of countries speak english--but i was wondering if most of you still bought translation books?
if you did, any reccomendations on a good book for german/switzerland/greek?? i can hold my own in italian!!! but that's it!!! and i'm ok with my spanish!!!!!!!!!
