European Cruises Recommendations/Comments

We're trying to decide on our HM & I wanted to hear comments/reviews from girls that actually went on cruises in Europe. I'm leaning more Meditteranean, but FH really wants to see Ireland. Right now we're undecided. Any recommendations on ships/itineraries, etc.

Thanks so much

Hmm. Well, I can't give an actual 'recommendation' yet but we're taking a Mediterranean cruise for our (postponed) honeymoon in June (40 days to go!). It looks WONDERFUL and I've heard nothing but amazing things about it so, just given that I'd recommend it.

Here's our itinerary:

Barcelona, Spain
Villefranche, France (Nice/Monte Carlo)
Livorno, Italy (Florence/Pisa)
Civitavecchia, Italy (Rome)
Naples, Italy
At Sea
Mykonos, Greece
Santorini, Greece
Piraeus, Greece (Athens)
At Sea
Dubrovnik, Croatia
Venice, Italy (overnight)

We're taking the Celebrity Millenium. FM if you have any more questions and if you can hold off booking I'll give you a full review when I get back.

We're using Costa cruise lines. I've heard they are great!

Leaving out of Venice, Italy
Bari, Italy
Greece (2 islands)
Turkey
Croatia
Return to Venice, Italy

We are planning the same cruise as eogara, but not until next year, but I have heard that Celebrity is one of the best lines to go there. I think Royal Carib. goes too. Go on their websites and request a brochure.
