If u are in the smithtown area, I would call her and see if you can go in...
You may want to narrow it down for yourself- since there are so many places to see...
do you want to cruise? are there countries on your list of must sees?

honestly, dont be nervous about cruising...I know some bad things have been in the news, but people go on cruises every day and are safe... BUT, if you are thinking of greece- we went to Athens, Mykonos, Santorini, and Rhodes- My favorite being Santorini with a second runner up of Rhodes!
My friend is going in May and they are doing Santorini, Mykonos, Athens, and Lasvkos (spelling?)
Another friend is doing a cruise in July-almost the same as the one we did, except they go to croatia-which I heard is gorgeous!

Re: European Honeymoon
A friend of ours, who has family in Greece gave us a list of islands I have never heard of. I am just not sure whether it is more cost effective to book a cruise or take ferries from island to island.

our original plan was to go to the greek islands only- but when we were pricing things out it was going to cost more to go to the islands-PLUS more travel time because you need time to go to each of the islands whether it is by ferry or by plane-they do have some small planes... 10 days (and we really needed more) with a nice hotel- not the BEST but a nice hotel- and trying to figure food and spending money-and entertainment-hotel- and Interisland flights- we didnt want to take the ferries because we felt they would take too long, plus airfare, we were looking at 10,000+
for our cruise- we flew to rome- we used airline miles-and only paid $600.00 for two people!
the cruise itself was almost 6,000 But food on the ship is included and VERY good- the only food we ate was lunch when we were at the ports, some ports had food included in the excursion
airport transfers were included
We paid for our excursions, spending money
entertainment on the ship is there for you
We spent about 200 a night in rome for hotel, plus food, spending money
