about how much would it cost for 2 weeks in europe? we are completely open to anywhere in europe with the exception of ireland/scotland, england, and france. other then that, since its the summer, the weather wont be freezing. we want to do stuff with a tour guide so we dont miss out. i guess mainly were focusing on italy and greece but like i said we are open to suggestions. so my question is, about how much would something like this run. fh's parents are paying for our honeymoon and want to get an idea of about how much it is going to cost. so any suggestions and estimates would GREATLY be appreciated.

Re: european honeymoons
Going in August ... be prepared.... lol airfare in that area may start at $1500 each. Plus don't forget the euro is kicking our *** right now. If you are looking for guided tours, check out www.vacationstogo.com and there's a 'guided tours' button on the top. Or maybe check out cruises. Costa is pretty affordable but check out royal caribbean and princess too. And don't forget to look into each stop's excursions. HTH
ETA: Do a quick search on kayak or some other site for this year's prices. I just quickly checked venice for around you time for 2 weeks and got $1400 for the cheapest non-stop and $1200 for 1-stop. I didn't realize you were only in 2009 but I think looking at this year's prices in august would be your best bet.

Re: european honeymoons
thank you so much for the suggestions. i know the money conversion is going to suck but ive been to many of the caribbean islands already and fh wants to do more then lay around on a beach for 2 weeks since we usually do that once a year anways. we kinda want this to be a once in a lifetime trip and since his parents are paying and offering us this oppertunity we really want to make the most of it.
i actually just started to look at the price of cruises for what this august would be and its so much cheaper then what i was anticipating. im going to have to do more research on that. thank you so much again!
