Eve of Milady Brides- I need urgent help!!

Hi Girls,


I am getting married on 9/6/03 and just found my dress. It was a little more than I had budgeted for but I just fell in love with it. Anyway, it is a Eve of Milady gown and I have heard from other bridal shops that this company is very hard to deal with and they are horrible with their delivery time. Since I am getting married in less than a year, I am wondering if they will have my gown ready in time. I would love to hear from other brides that have bought Eve dresses and can tell me if they arrived on time or if you had any problems with them. Please respond quickly as I told the salesgirl that I would call tomorrow to place the order. Thanks for your help, the panic is setting in!

I bought an Eve of Milady dress about 2 weeks ago. I'm getting married August 9th. I was told that they do take longer than other designers but that as long as I ordered before the New Year it would be fine.

My gown was an Eve. I ordered it in April & it came in September. My dress was pricey & my zipper was broken when it came in, the salon had to put a replacement zipper in because Eve would not have sent a new one in time for my October wedding. I hated the bridal salon I dealt with, we watched my video last night & the sides of my dress had bumps that I told them about & they never fixed. Make sure you deal with a top notch salon no matter what dress you buy!

Yes, Eve of Milady is not a very fast delivery shop, but you should have enough time. What did the bridal shop say? Also, make sure you put your wedding date a month before the 'real' date with the bridal shop. That will ensure you get your dress on time.
Editted to say: I agree. Only deal with a reputable bridal shop. Do a search on here before you order from them. I highly recommend Bridal Suite of Centereach.

Oh, I can totally relate to your post! My gown was an Eve Of Milady. I was told, like you said that they are the hardest to deal with and their dresses take the longest. I ordered my dress from Bridal Suite in Centereach in mid December and it arrived in mid March. My wedding was in August. I was so shocked at how soon it came in! I would say that you will be fine if you order it very soon. If you go to Bridal Suite, ask for Debbie. She is wonderful to deal with and super helpful!
