My ceremony is at the venue and starts at 7:30 - cocktail hour and reception immediately following and it all ends at 1am. Anyone else doing similar? Any concerns about guests leaving early?
My ceremony starts at 7, everything is over at 1230. I'm not really worried about it. It's a sat night and I feel like people kind of anticipate that.
Ditto mine is a Friday, ceremony at 630pm and cocktail hour/reception to follow till 1am. Since half of our guests are OOT, unless they get a taxi, they'll have to wait for the shuttle which we may have start coming around at midnightish or a lil earlier; me and FI have yet to discuss
We had a 6:30 ceremony and added an extra hour to our reception so it didn't end until 1:30am. We did not have a problem with people leaving early, it was a Saturday night and aside from our older guests people stay out that late all the time. Make sure your band is awesome and you are guaranteed to have people want to keep partying.
I agree with the other posts. My ceremony is slotted for 7 with the reception ending at 1. It's a Saturday and my friends know we like to party so I'm not worried about it at all
