My photographer suggested an evening sunset/night engagement shoot as something different - does anyone have any suggestions on where we should take our pics? Let me know what you guys think!

Maybe you can go somewhere in the village, union square. Beautiful parks, and i am sure when the sun is going down it would make for some really beautiful pictures. Or central park is an obvious choice, beautiful place. In front of Tiffany's is cute, or one of your favorite stores?
I know it's not an outside picture, but the Toys 'R' US in times square has that big ferris wheel inside, maybe you can take a few pictures on that. I dont know waht kind of style your going for or w/e it was just an idea that popped nito my head, so i thought i would share ;)

honestly... ellis island of the staten of liberty, you can get the nyc skyline and great sunset pics
pier 17 or the brooklyn bridge
jersey city park (i think its called liberty state park) its across the hudson from manhattan and its fabulous

We are planning on taking ours at DUMBO in Brooklyn. You will get great pics of the bridge lit up and the city skyline

Hi, We are doing e-pics in NYC too. We were thinking of Times Square and Central Park. They are close together and provide great backgrounds.

OH yea take a look at enjft's epics they came out beautiful
brooklyn promenade or gantry park in lic bc from either place you have an amazing view of the skyline. I took my e-pics in gantry park and its on the water across from the city so you have the whole skyline look. If you want city locations then maybe by the flat iron district or even times square

If its late enough, (so its elss crowded) Grand Central Station because of the big clock. Our photographer for our day After shoot wants to take pics there.

Near any NYC Bridge is always interesting...
Be sure your photographer knows how to handle a camera in the dark.

If you're doing sunset, then don't do central park....do something where you can see the lights and skyline of the city, take advantage of how beautiful the city is at that time of day. Take them on the Brooklyn Bridge, or in DUMBO underneath the bridge where you can see the skyline.
