Evening outfits in Vegas

What kind of evening outfits should I bring to my trip to vegas. I am used to packing for the Caribbean with sundresses, etc, but someone told me it is very dressy there at night. Can anyone help?

It depends where you plan on going. I am a big time jeans girl, so I wore jeans a lot with cute halter tops or tube tops. Sometimes skirts, I switched it up. Some trendy cute sexy dresses. It really depends where you are going.

Vegas you cna wear anything... It is so friggin hot you might just want Shorts or some lightweight capris.. there is no dress code in Vegas..unless you are going to the fancy resturants where you need to dress up...

I agree - it is really like anything goes there and it depends on what you are doing.

I wore jeans/black pants and sweaters (it was quite chilly when I went-not typical conditions - it was in April) or for nicer restaurants/shows - skirts and sweaters.

(We only went to a clubby place once or twice and even there I was fine. But DH and I weren't there for the whole scene thing - we more wanted to drink and people watch!)
