just feel as if what should be a happy time is just making me miserable.
i just think it would have be easier to just elope.

Re: ever feel like cancelling everything???
I'm sorry.
yes, today has been one of those days.
I'm freaking out about fitting everyone, the weather (outdoor tent wedding), already a bunch of family fights. I'm ready to move to a big indoor space or just get married in Vegas when we go there in the spring. I just started planning too so I don't think I've seen the worst of it.
I hope things get better for you!

Goodness - I hear you - I have one of these episodes every couple of days. Some people love planning and would love to do it over and over again - I am NOT one of those people. It would just be easier to elope and start a life together - but they say that you'll look back at all of this and realize it's not that big a deal and your wedding day will be beautiful/amazing just because you and FH are so in love. Don't know who THEY are though

Re: ever feel like cancelling everything???
yes i feel the same way.. i went with my brides maids to look for dresses. i thought the dress i saw online was the one but in person its didnt look as nice. :( and then the people at the store were so rude.. Hate lestens.. But i think after all is said and done your gonna feel so happy. You should speak to your BM.. tell them how you feel maybe they might not know. Unfortunately with the guys its not the same. some guys feel like they dont need to do **** and leave all up to you.. I hope you feel better..

DEFINITELY!!! Sometimes I wonder if the stress and amount of money you pay is worth it. If I had to do it again, I would definitely elope!

Re: ever feel like cancelling everything???
Sorry to hear The emotional roller coaster that came along with planning a wedding is not what I signed up for. Of course I want to have my day, but it better be worth all the drama! 2morrow will be a better day for you!

yup, I feel like that pretty often. I sometimes feel like everyone else around me is more excited about this wedding than I am. I'm actually more excited about being his wife and being married than all this fan-fare and planning for the wedding day.

my feelings exactly! at first FH and I wanted a very small, low-key wedding. then the moms got involved and our guest list of approx. 15 turned to 150! at first we tried to keep it small, and originally booked the hill room at westbury manor for 60 guests. then we started hearing 'i can't invite this person without inviting this person', and the list just kept growing. we switched to the garden room, and i think the only reason the guest list has stopped growing is because i told everyone the max for the room is 140. i kinda still want my small wedding with close family, but we're already in so many contracts there's no backing out now. i wish all the planning was just done, and we can get married and enjoy what we originally wanted, which was just to be together!

Re: ever feel like cancelling everything???
I have been having many of those days latley.. I was actually crying my eyes on last night to FH about it again.
1. I am changing photographers 2. My BM's are having major fights- (mostly over shoes) 3. And my mom is planning my shower and was having major issues w/ one of my aunts- first no one in my bridal party offered to help and all and 2nd my aunt planned a party for her family to mexico when they were planning my shower. Everything then had to be changed! 4. I still do not know for sure who is doing my hair and makeup!!
I still and get upset all the time. And I try to let it all go, say it is only one day... and relax but sometimes it really just gets to me! I was saying last night to FH we should have just eloped- saved money.. aggrivations.. tears!
EH! though I am not saying there hasnt been good things too- dont get me wrong!
GOOD LUCK GIRLS!

Re: ever feel like cancelling everything???
omg . . . I am SO glad you said that! I feel like I SHOULD be more excited but yes! The mothers are driving me NUTS! And my FH drives me nuts about decision making - It would be soo much easier to elope! And to think when I was a kid I always waned a Cinderella wedding - little did I know it would make me this crazy and stressed. I thought I was the only one who felt this way - I'm so happy you posted this!

I did feel that way many times before the wedding, but I'm very glad I didn't. The memories of the wedding can't be replaced. In the end it will work out & you will have a great wedding!

yup! almost all the time!! - i guess because it's really overwhelming - it's fun but I wish i didnt' have to work on top of the wedding planning and just enjoy every second of it and not stress coz you're trying to squeeze in planning with everything else in your life!

Re: ever feel like cancelling everything???
Honey i feel you!
I didnt have 11 BMs, but 1 was out of state( helped as much as she could) 1 had a full time job AND went to school full time and the others were complainers
They didnt do much except buy their dresses, etc. and plan my bachelorette party, which was fun but definitely could have been better.
My MIL did my shower b/c the girls hadnt put it together yet and she had had it with them.
DH wanted nothing to do with the planning...his response was, whatever you want its YOUR wedding...tell me what to wear and when to be there.
This I will PROMISE YOU! When it is all said and done you the stress, annoyance, anger, hating people is soooo worth it. For 6 months before the wedding all I could sya was 'is it my wedding yet I cant deal anymor' NOW I would pay money to be in your position to do it again
