Ever hear of the band...

Milestone???

My friend/MOH is having her wedding in Wappinger Falls NY, but was having trouble finding a band she liked up there, so she looked on LI. She got information from Milestone who is average priced, is including travel fee, but wants some feedback on them. thanks so much

OMG! My friend got married there two years ago this October. It was beautiful! She had her ceremony outdoors at Villa Borghese too. Is your friend having her ceremony there?

she's not! But I know she will be happy to hear that it was so good...she was telling me that there arent soooo many places to have a reception, at least not like LI(she came on the search with us) How was the food??? I cant wait to tell her!

I went to FI's brothers wedding there last year!!! The food was very good, and the service was great!! It's a very pretty hall..

The food was great! Very very beautiful! I'm originally from up that way too...there's not much at all! (definitely not like LI!)

There are TONS of hotels there (in Fishkill) right off 84 on Rt. 9...We stayed at the Holiday Inn, I believe Hilton Garden Inn, Marriott and many more are all 'clumped' together. What time of year is she getting married? My friend got married on Columbus Day Weekend and hotel booked FAST...peak time of there for leaves. It's a little bit of a drive from the hotels to the Villa Borghese, but I believe one of the hotels provides a shuttle...not too sure though.

Definitely a TON on route 9! You should have no problem finding one.
