ever just really hurt for a silly reason?

my mom won 4 tix to cirque de soleil. she asked me to go. oddly there was only 1 ticket left.

i found out she invited her friend and her friend's daughter before me. her friend said no but her daughter is going.

i told my dad i was upset and he said my mom knew i would be.

nice. I'm not going now. I'm telling them later when they stop by. Maybe she can ask some random stranger's kid instead of her ONLY child.

whatever. just another thing she's slighted me with.

I do have to add that this is my mom's best friend's daughter and she's like a cousin to me. so it's not a RANDOM person and she's 30. but she always asks them to do things before me. this isn't the 1st time and I let it go. I dont want to let it go anymore.

I don't blame you at all, I would be hurt if my mom asked my cousin to go somewhere before me. I would definetly tell your mom how your feeling, especially since your dad said she knew you would be hurt. Maybe if you say something she will take your feelings into consideration more.

not a chance in hell. she KNEW id be upset. she told my dad it was gonna be an issue. so why even ask me? and the funny thing is that Marlana pisses her off.

and I've said something. i was blunt w my father. he WILL tell my mom. they have no secrets.

hey maybe she'll give her the $ she hasn't offered to me for Marlana's wedding if she ever remarries.

honestly i have a laundry list of things i'm upset about w them right now.

some people should NOT have kids. honestly.

My mom usually invites my sil before me, and it hurts cause I'm her only daughter!

I feel like all the mothers of my friends who have gotten married have either been really, really, really overbearing or really really really sucky. There's no in between.
