Every Dishes wich one?

I originally picked out these white everyday dishes by lenox, tin can alley

because i thought i was getting cherry mahagony dark kitchen cabinets, we are now getting white cabinets, just like this, they have a java glaze

Also we are getting very light granite tops, its called ivory chiffon. So thats why i think now the color might not be so bad

so now im thinking if i should change my everyday dishes to what i originally wanted but didnt think would go with dark cabinets.

which is this one.

I really wanted trendy white square dishes as our everyday dishes. We registered for some at BBB (and matching dessert plates at Crate & Barrel) but decided to add some colored salad plates too, in addition to the white ones.

We currently use our salad plates as our default dishes right now, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to have extras.

If you like white, it's a good compromise to have the ability to mix in color if/when you want it.

Edit: I voted and commented before you had pictures up so I assumed you were speaking generally. I like both sets you chose.

color! I love color. If they are reasonably priced you can always change it up when you get tired of the color.

You can never go wrong with white - in 2 years you might hate the colored one.

I chose color, just not crazy about the ones you posted....I think you should look around for earthy toned dishes...hope that's helpful.

I love all white china but the colored pattern you posted just seems so warm and 'homey'. I think they are beautiful

I think you should go with color. I'm not a huge fan of yellow, but if it is what you like, then go for it.

You can also go for Fiesta-ware (it's what I registered for) because you can mix and match with the colors. That and they have been around forever, so if one breaks, you know you can replace it.
