EVERYBODY LOOK....BUT ESPICALLY CHATEAU LA MER PPL

DID I GET YOUR ATTENTION LOL....

okay after looking at 5 places now--windows on the lake, the riviera, thatched cottage, larkfield manor and majestic gardens--i did not like the style of the first three i mentioned and i did like the style of the last two(both more elegant)...i went to the majestic gardens showcase (because they were our number) one last night with fh and both of our parents and nobody was crazy about the food they had and we are italian and we love our food lol...so im back to square one..originally the first appt i ever made was chateau la mer and fh and i drove there but we werent impressed with the surrounding area that we didnt even go in for our appt and now i am looking over new places to look at and i looked at their website and its beautiful and their menu looks great and fh wanted it to be on the water...so im asking for any input whatsoever...put i did have a question...i believe they have two weddings at a time and i saw on the website only one dining room i think..do u know the min for each room and do both rooms have a view of the water and are they both just as nice? we are only looking to have 100-130 ppl and also what were u girls quoted? im looking for sept 2008 on a sunday evening...thank u and sorry this is so long...

My Aunt had her wedding there and it was amazing! The food, service, views. She also came up by boat-everyone LOVED that. It is a beautiful place.

clm has one cocktail room. used by the upstairs and downstairs. downstairs is beautiful and has 175 minimum most of the time. upstairs is nice and has a lower minimum. price i don't know.

I had the most amazing wedding at Chateau La Mer. Everyone told me that it was the best wedding they've ever been to by far (also because of the band www.RightOnBand.com) and the best they're ever going to attend. Nick and Lou are amazing- the food is amazing and plentiful. Go to a tasting- you'll have dinner for a week to take home! They big room is booked until 2007. Get the chocolate fountain. It is worth it!

my sister got married at CLM last summer and it was absolutely amazing!!

I got married there almost a year ago and it was the best decision I have ever made!! If you get married on a Friday night (at least when I booked) they promised only one bride in the building. I am not sure how they work Sundays. The smaller room upstairs might be better for you numbers wise but it is still beautiful and faces the water (Jen 2999 got married there recently and his pix in her review). My review has some pix as well. Definetly go check them out- they are amazing, they have fantastic prices and you get SO much for you rmoney!!! Ask for Nick!

upstair minmum depends on the time of day, what day of the week & the time of year- i know for sat evening in june i believe it was 125 for the minimum
