We are hosting it. DH is cooking and we are having less food then last year, with more people. This year we were doing our list of food we are having. It doesnt seem enough.
Tell me what you think.

Fried Calamari
Fried Fillet
Fried Shrimp
Cocktail Shrimp
5lbs. Ziti
Baked Clams

Last year we went all out, this year this year I feel like I am short changing on the food. We also had a bad year so I think that has to do with it. But do you think this will be enough for 12 people. and 4 kids?

DH also wants to have place cards at the table, but people always get insulted when you do that. People want to sit here instead of there.

that sounds like more than enough for 12 people and 4 kids considering kids really do not eat a lot and ecspecially fish. 5lbs of ziti alone is enough

Danielle and I are having christmas eve in our apartment. I believe it is going to be my dad, Danielles parents, her sister, husband and 3 kids, her uncle Don, and possibly her uncle sal and a friend of the family.

It should be crazy....

As of right now we are making a Sprial Ham, Sweet Potato Pie, This funky rice I make, A big yummy Salad, Danielle's sister is making a string bean cassarole, and we gotta figure out other things to make.

For appetizers we have a shrimp ring, and we are going to make a few other things.

For dessert my dad is bringing Rugelach, and Danielle made cookies. I will have to pick up some pie.

We're having 22 people at our house. We're catering it because I'm not cooking for all those people. We're having a tray of baked ziti, a tray of Penne Alla Vodka, 1/2 tray of chix parm, 1/2 tray of eggplant parm, salad and garlic knots. It sshould be pretty crazy with all those people and I am very nervous!!! This is the biggest thing we've had at our house thus far.

We are doing xmas eve but it is just us and my dh's half-sister and her fiance. I haven't picked up any appetizers yet but I am making stuffed clams, garlic bread, salad, meatballs and baked ziti. I got an apple pie and pumpkin pie for dessert.

We're having the Eve at our house - just five adults and three kids. My DH always makes too much - here's our menu:

raw shrimp platter
veggie platter and onion dip
stuffed mushrooms
tilapia
flounder
linguine with clam sauce
linguine marinara
salad
asparagus
and desserts.

I think your menu sounds fine. Maybe add a big salad?
