Everyone around is pregnant

I counted 6 people today who were pregnant waiting for the train to come in the subway.

I guess because I want to be so badly I notice this more. It just seems like everywhere I looked this morning someone was pregnant.

I agree - I think we who are TTC are more sensitive to it, since its what we are striving for now

But I swear I see at least 4-5 pregnant ladies a day on my commute, in the city, in my office, etc. And even in our building there are 2 new preggos ..

It'll be our turn soon too though!!

I've only caught the TTC fever last week (since we weren't even trying) and I've noticed the same thing.
Now that it's on the brain... it's more noticealbe to us.

I agree... ever since I m/c, I've noticed more & more preggos, and it makes me jealous! Argh! We're not TTC again yet, but it reminds me that I should be preggo, too!

Tell me about it. I was just lamenting that fact in the Britney Spears post.

And now one of my close co-workers is preggo - she just announced it this morning.

I have a new training class today and one of the girls in there is about 7 months.

It's absolutely everywhere. I'm so happy for them, but I have trouble reconciling the happy for them and the frustrated for me sometimes.

Thank goodness I have you girls and this board!!!

Plus it doens't help - that I have 3 very close cousins that are preggo and 2 of my very close friends that are as well!

It is really hard when those closest to you are pregnant. I have a close friend who is having her 3rd child in September. I am really happy for her I just wish I was pregnant with her. She will be 30 this August and she is on her 3rd. I will be 31 in July and trying for my 1st. We grew up together since we were little. She lived right next door to me.

My husband is a 1st year resident at Stonybrook hospital and he works so many hours. He is hardly ever home. We are never together and I feel like my chances are less because of this. I try so hard not to think that way but it is easier said than done.

It is really nice to have people to talk to here on LI Weddings and I do know one day it will happen for all of us, it is just hard sometimes to think that way. This morning it just hit me hard after seeing all these pregnant people.
I felt I needed to post this just to vent and know it is always comforting to post here on the TTC boards.

I firmly believe that all of our time will come. It just hasn't been meant to be for us. But once that wish is granted, we won't even notice any preggos... if anything, we'll probably notice that our child is rowdier than someone elses!

Oh yeah, besides my 11 PG friends and family members I think my entire car on the LIRR is PG women! LOL I know I'm LOOKING for it though...I try not to be so aware of it...it doesnt work though.

I think our awareness level is really high when it comes to this. We are like blood hounds

I agree. I think I notice it more because I have been trying. Is what upsets me even more is seeing people who have been married less than me, are pregnant, and got that way on the first try
