Ok...girls...please post best immune building tips!
I sit in my cube afraid to go out! The woman in back of me is out sick and she NEVER is out of work. The woman in front of me is getting sick.
Ok...so far I've been told...
Vitamin C (ugh...she's coughing again!) ummm... Echinacea
What else do ya got?

I had a cold last Thursday....I started taking Zicam on Friday and it was gone by Saturday!!
If not Zicam, I have heard Airborne works well too!

Whatever time you go to bed, make it an hour earlier and strive to get 8 hours of sleep each night. You'll be more resistent to whatever's going around if you're fully rested and are not run down.
ETA: try to do this from now until your wedding along with the other suggestions and you should be fine!

Take Echinacea!! 2 a day! I get mine at Trader Joe's (with Golden Seal)
I am telling you Lori, I swear by the stuff!! my co-worker had the flu last week so I started taking it after I had a sore throat and I am ok now

Airborne but make sure you do it religiously or you will get the symptoms. There are packets--can't remember the name but htey are vitamin c & you mix with water I am sure you can get them in a vitamin store.

Orange juice....trust me, it works. Or, you can buy the Vitamin C packets that you can get from any deli and add it to your water.

Iv'e been taking Airborne, not religiously though, it tastes yucky.....hopefully it works so who cares how it tastes!

I just came back from a wake and see a load of responses! I'm definitely stocking up on ALL this stuff tonight! I've got my wedding marathon weekend starting tonight! No time for rest!
Tonight...meet with Father Tom Tomorrow...Speak to Bakery about cake for G-ma b-day at wedding 2nd Fitting Meet with DJ Friday...Get marriage license Meeting with DOC Saturday...if not raining...complete aisle runner or work on indoor projects. Sunday same as Sat.....

i work with kids, so its the same way... always someone around me who is sick.... so i've been taking an ariborne every morning with breakfast and so far, so good its better than just plain vitamin C because its got other immune building vitamins, too! i usually don't take it on the weekends though... only the days where i'm coming in to this kid-germ infested school

My DH swears by Airborne. They sell it at any drug store even Target has it. Good Luck!

Ok...I went to Walgreens and looked like I had issues when I got up to the register! I bought Airborne, Cold Ease & Sugar Free Cold Ease for FH since he's diabetic. I also was running low on Vicks Vaporub (love this stuff!) from the last time I was sick...so we're fully stocked! Oh and how could I forget...Puffs Plus just in case! I think with all the ammo we've got we won't need it ...I hope!
