Everyone says they have been dreaming of thier wedding thier entire lives...have you?

I always swore I would never get married and I am getting married for the second time! The first wedding was a nightmare but this one is different. If I had to dream of a wedding when I was little then this one would def be it!

I was the little girl that always pictured myself in my dress, walking down the aisle to a guy with no face....I was little!! Didn't have a boyfriend yet!! I always wanted to find the perfect guy to marry. The first time I saw my FH, I knew he was going to make my dreams come true!

I never thought I'd get married or 'dreamed' about - my mom is surprised that I'm so into it. I told her that I never expressed any interest in it b/c I was afriad to be diasppointed if I never ended up meeting the right person and getting married.

I can remember watching Steel Magnolias and Julia Roberts got married in the movie. It was the first time I ever really thought about it...

I have not been dreaming of my wedding since I was a little girl. In fact, I didn't really think much about the actual wedding (only the marriage) until I bought my first wedding magazine, after my FH popped the question. So I've been thinking about my wedding for about 6 months now...

I was always the 'hopeless romantic' type...wishing and dreaming of someday..even when no man was in sight..I am pretty much the last of my friends to get married so i got to experience so many wonderful weddings that were meaningful to me, but always longed for it to be my turn...well damnit! It's about freakin' time I'm the one walking down the aisle! haha. If you look up 'Always a bridesmaid, never a bride' you'd see my pic sitting there. And the funny thing is, I am not a real 'girly, girl' type...just always dreamed of finding Mr. Right..yeah he finally showed up!

I dunno....I don't think I really did, I guess I contemplated but wouldn't say I really dreamed about it. If it came up as a topic, sure, I'd have ideas! heehee! I think I've just been dreaming about it obsessively the last 4 years until FH finally proposed!

Nope. Never really put all that much thought into it until recently. Even when we got engaged I told FH I dont want a wedding..lets just get married and start our lives...dont know how I ended up planning this big wedding...

No. Always wanted to get married, but never dreamed of the day till I met fh.

same here i still think its allot of pomp and circumstance but i guess its a once in a life time thing

In my teens & early 20's I would swear that I had no desire to get married or have kids... I think I just hadn't met the right guy. But no, a white wedding was not part of my lifelong dreams.

Nope! I actually wasn't sure I'd ever get married..this is all of a shock actually!

I always said I was going to be a free career woman--no husband no kids. Then I met FH...things changed...and I got baby fever! Even when I decided to get married--I thought I wanted a simple destination wedding with just us, our parents and a BM and MOH...when I got the ring- that went out the window (with all of our $$$$$)

Not really.....I was the tomboy growing up, I was more concerned with going out and playing with my friends than dressing up and thinking about things like that. I didn't really start to think about it until I was in a serious relationship.
