we were talking about epics at Sands Point Preserve a while back. I've been trying to get in touch with them for weeks now. They have taken down my number several and never called back. I never got any information on it, so I'm pretty much giving up.
Didn't want you to think I forgot! Have you gotten any info?

Re: Evita.. Sands Point
I just remembered that my friend took her e-pics there 3 years ago. she said that there is a site fee and it was about $100. It might be more now but for me it's def worth it! But lmk still if you get in touch with somebody there? I might head out there next weekend to just walk if the weather is nice and i'll get some more info

Re: Evita.. Sands Point
Ok, so I think Sands Point is a lurker
Yesterday afternoon, after this post, I finally get a call back after weeks!!
Here's the info:
$200 for a permit (this is for May) If you only plan on using the outside grounds only, you just show up the day you want to take the pics, fill out the paperwork and pay the $200 - no appointment needed.
If you want to use inside the house- you have to make an appointment and it's and extra $50.
Another area (don't remember the name of it) also needed an appointment and it was also another $50.

at least they got back to you!!
Ok that price is not so bad. It should be cheaper I hope that it's less during the fall. that's when FH and I are planning on going. Thank you so much for the info! you're taking yours in May?

Re: Evita.. Sands Point
We are planning to take them in May, but I don't think I want to pa $200 for a permit. There's so much coming up that we have to pay for and I feel like we could use that money for other things... If you end up taking them there, you have to post pics!!

hi ladies!!! i wanted to take my pics there too. the #200 is all year round - it doesn't change with the seasons
if you don't want to pay the fee. try the planting fields arboretum. also in nassau and just as pretty. there is a site fee of $100 but if your good and sneaky - you can get away with not paying if no one sees you. if not, you can pay the day pff and at least its cheaper.
