ew (nwr)

i made a freaking AWESOME dinner last night (bacon wrapped chicken stuffed with cream cheese and herbs, garlic and oil broccoli, home made texas toast, pasta salad and bruschetta)

well the stink of the herbs and garlic is stuck under my nails (I have acrylic tips)... after cooking I scrubbed my hands, then did the dishes, and I showered this morning... so why the hell do I still smell garlic!

I know if I use lemon juice it'll go away, but I don't have any lemon juice on me.... guess I'm stuck with the stank all day!

the chicken- I found a recipe online that had cc and chive stuffing.. but I didn't have any chives, so I improvised.

whats needed:
chicken cutlet (thin and pounded )
8oz whipped cream cheese
1lb bacon
basil
thyme
oregano
salt
pepper
toothpicks

bake at 425 for aprox 30 minutes.

directions:
beat the hell out of the chicken
mix cc and spices (I added 2 stripped of cooked, crushed bacon)- spice to taste-- you can try it while you mix it, nothing will make you sick.
lay chicken out, place a dollop of cc mix into center, wrap chicken so that NO cc is showing.
wrap chicken in bacon (it says so no chicken is showing, but I didn't have enough bacon cause-- well i ate some its my weakness) I used 2-4 strips per piece of chicken.
secure with toothpick
bake for 18 minutes
cover with aluminum foil, bake another 10 minutes or until cooked.

it was really easy. but it does say to keep the stuffed/wrapped chicken in the fridge for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to mix. and it didn't call for the spices, just chives.
--------

oh I also made cheese and bacon biscuits too!
someone posted them on here yesterday so I made them.
cook some bacon (I used 2 strips) shred some cheese (depending on how cheesy you want it) and open a can of biscuits or croissant. mix- mix everything together and roll into medium sized balls. bake based on directions on can.
------

garlic and oil broccoli

i use about 3 garlic cloves, sliced into halves and thirds, how ever much broccoli I plan on service and a splash of evoo.
steam cook the garlic and broccoli.
place in bowl, pour a little evoo, throw a dash of garlic powder to give it a kick.. mix and serve.
