My mom had given FH and I a gift certificate to a restaurant in Brooklyn (where I used to live) for Christmas last year and we never got around to going so we used it last night. I took the train into Brooklyn after work and went shopping nearby while I waited for FH to pick me up (he was stuck in traffic). So I was in Century 21 and all of a sudden I hear 'Well look who it is!' So I look and it was my ex and his friend. So he asked what I've been up to lately and I told him I bought a house and moved to LI. He asked if I bought it alone or with someone and I told him I bought it with Glen. He asked if I was married so I said 'Almost, less than 9 months to go.' I asked what him and his friend have been up to and we bs-ed for another minute or two. I didn't want it to get to that awkard stage when you run out of things to talk about so I just said it was good seeing him and then he hugged me and wished me luck with the house and the wedding. It was a little weird running into him after all these years but I have to admit it was a nice feeling letting him know that I've moved way beyond him and how great my life is.

LOL! This happened to me! Ran into my ex and he is now playig for the PINK team! SOOOOO glad THAT didn't work out!
