Exactly 6 months to go!! :)

Well ladies, today is the 6 month countdown for me! and everything under control...LOL...at least I think so. All of our vendors are booked, BM dresses ordered, Wedding gown ordered (should be in any day now!). Now we will play the hurry up and wait game. Hurry up and book things, then wait til closer to the wedding. None if our vendors want to see us until it get closer to the wedding. I guess we will order the invitations in May or June at at least that will give me something to do over the summer!! LOL Good luck to all! Lisa PS...Im so torn between excitement and stress. Anyone else feel that way??

Exactly 6 months to go!! :)

I remember the lull myself - I didn`t do much during the summer and fall - now I wish I had, with only one week to go! You`ll enjoy the final days more, and be more relaxed, if you finish the little stuff like gifts for your bridesmaids - all picked out and wrapped, favors selected, wrapped, etc. Lists for the music, the 'can`t miss' photos, etc. I`m a big list maker, but I`ve procrastinated for some reason, and now I feel like I`m not even sure what needs to be completed! The more organized and detailed you can be over the next 3 months, the more you`ll enjoy the final 3 months! Congrats and good luck!

Relax and enjoy it

O.K I remember the 6 month mark and I was twiddling my thumbs too, now that we have less than two months I am crazed. We are doing our last details and finalising everything it is so wierd b/c we have been engaged for two years and it has gone by so quick and I am used to having so much time and I don't anymore. Before last i was sure I wouldn't get anxious b/c I am usually very laid back but I am getting nervous, I guess getting nervous is inevitible. So enjoy the smooth sailing it does get a little crazy towards the end, its still fun though, so enjoy.

I know what you`re going through

Our vendors have been booked for months, and it`s been very quite on the wedding planning front. However, I`m starting to feel like I`ve let too much time slip away. We haven`t registered anywhere yet. I`m still agonizing over the guest list. We haven`t been out shopping for invitations. We have no idea how we`re arranging the ceremony in terms of music, readings and such. We haven`t gotten any of the gifts yet for the party or parents. Basically I just feel overwhelmed when I start thinking about all the 'little' things we still have to do. And while we do have about five months to go, I wonder how I`m going to fit it all in with my crazy work schedule.

I know what you`re going through

Ladies, I know its harder said than done. But we all have to take a deep breath and take things slow. I have 4 months to go and I was stressing so much that my FI and I were constantly fighting. Just take plans week by week. I said ok, this week we will register, next week we will order invitations. I know its all the little things that drive us NUTS!!! I have been learning to not stress out, because I have been taking so much of it out on Jay, and I dont mean to. Good Luck!!!
