We typed our entire guest and address list into Excel, but now we need it in Word to hand off to our calligrapher. Copying and pasting doesn't work. Is there any easy way to do this w/o retyping all 125 addresses?
I hope so!

More than one person I contacted all want the addresses in MS Word.
We started them in excel when we were printing off address lables for the STDs and e-party invites.

Why isn't copying and pasting working I have done it plenty of times here at work for people.

Create a mail merge - select the option for directory.

We did the same thing. Fortunately FH types very fast, so he retyped onto a word doc.

You can also do a paste special into Word.

highlight the entire spreadsheet not just the column, then copy the whole spreadsheet and it should paste into word.

Yes, but it will paste into Word still as a spreadsheet.
You need to copy from XL, then go to Word and go to Edit > Paste Special > You probably want to choose Formatted Text. It depends upon what they want from you though.
