Excellence Club?

It was worth it to us because even if we didnt do the club we atleast wanted a ocean view and the price difference was only like 150-200 so we just did it. the extras were really nice!

here are the things you get with the club
private concierge service, private check-in/check-out, late check out and early check-in (subject to availability), private lounge area with free Internet access, smart buffets & bar service, superior VIP amenities, superior room service menu, superior stocked mini-bar, daily newspapers, own pool & Jacuzzi at the pool area, private beach area, complimentary beach bag, shoe shine service, daily fruit basket in room, fresh flowers in room upon arrival, in-room liquor dispenser.

and also if you book the excellence club and stay more than 7 days you get
-Fruit basket upon arrival.
-Sumptuous champagne breakfast in bed on morning after arrival
-Couple's massage in the exclusive Spa garden which features
private treatment rooms for 2.
-Private beachfront dinner one evening. Upon return to your
guestroom, you will find a romantic rose petal bath set up
with essential oils and candles and a surprise gift.

its really up to you. if these free things are worth it to you then I say you should go for it. your HM only comes once. we LOVED the romantic dinner at the beach and the massage!! we waited til the last day to do those and it really made our stay extra special so hands down it was worth it :)

another thing about the excellence club beach was that they had beds!!!!!!!!!!!!! and IMO the excellence club rooms have better locations.. i think buildings 7 & 8 are the excellence club building

(we were in building 7 next to the number 32)

Were doing an ocean view since our travel agent told us the view and privacy is better than the swim up. We are definitely doing the excellence club since they have a lot of extras and you can use their pool and seperate bar area. I'll let you know if it is worth it in December, but I've def heard it is!

i agree after going there i think you should do a ocean view instead of the swim up. the hammocks in the regular swim up rooms look uncomfortable. and their not really swim ups.there is grass between the pool and the room. i say you do the excellence standard high floor room =]

I'm going to EPM for our HM and we are getting the two story roof top terrace with all the xtras...While I agree it's a lot of money, I HAD to HAVE an ocean view and I wanted the massage and private dinner on the beach.

Do you upgrade to this? I went through a TA and she didnt mention this to me. Would I have to contact the hotel here at home or could I wait and upgrade when I arrive?

you usually book a regular room or a Excellence club room.. definitely ask your TA if your interested because one you book it i dont think you can upgrade there..

whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! two story roof top terrace? how cool!!
we only did the excellence club ocean view jr suite(we requested a top floor and got one) and we still got all the extras we just didnt have a 2 story terrace.
your HM must be costing you ALOT of money!!!!
it sounds amazing as well as expensive LOL
