I need help in deciding between the two guys! I feel in love with the rooms at excellence in mexico especially the private hydrospa pool. I've heard very good things about royal hideaway tho.
Im looking for great quality at an affordable rate..to get my moneys worth. Great food, 24 hour room service, comfortable beds, and allinclusive.
Have any of you guys stayed at one or at both???? Please give me some advice and if you enjoyed your stay. Thanks a million!

I am going to Excellence PM in december for our HM. The private rooftop pool in the terrace rooms are what sealed the deal for me

hi there,
i stayed at the royal hideaway last year just for a vacation and it was the best ever! I really wish i had not gone there because i can't find anything for my honeymoon that can beat it...me and FH love to travel and stay at really nice places and everyone who i talk to says royal hideaway is the best hotel. The royal hideaway was voted 5 stars on the Conde naste ratings and it was all well worth it. The food was Amazing not like any other all inclusive ..And it was Beautiful as well the rooms were immaculate and the service was outstanding they waited on you hand and foot...well i hope this was helpfull...i can show you some pictures just FM me

We just went on a trip in Feb to the Excellence PM and it was awesome!! Just a word of caution... it is definitely a bit off the beaten path so some excursion type things take longer to get to than they would if you were staying in playa del carmen

We plan on booking the Royal Hideaway this summer for our honeymoon. My boss went for hers and said the same thing all the other girls have-- food and service is outstanding! You don't feel like your at an all-inclusive.
