Anyone been there and have any tips/reviews? We booked a junior suite garden view with the excellence club. Im wondering if it is worth it to upgrade ? And what excursions are the best? Im a little nervous too because we are going in September but we did get trip insurance so fingers crossed there will be good weather. Oh yeah also what type of clothing did you wear most days? I have never been to a resort I have no idea what I should be packing!
You are going to love the excellence. Ghost and I went there 2 summers ago and it was amazing. The place is beautiful and the staff is so friendly. There is a lot to keep you entertained all day and at night too. We went on a ziplining excursion and we went on an excursion where you could swim with sting rays and sharks, drive speed boats, kayak, and go snorkeling.we wore bathing suits and beach clothing during the day and then at night I wore sundresses and casual dressy clothing. My FH and I went there last November. We didnt upgrade to the Excellence Club but I have read alot of reviews its not worth it. But to each is own. As for excursions we did one of the snorkeling trips with sharks and then after you drank and went to an area where the ocean was like a pool. It was ok. We also did the buggys which we loved, it poured the night before so we ended up getting all muddy but had fun. We chose this over the ATVs since FH owns his own quad and we wanted to do something diff. As for dressing. During the day we were either off doing excursions or by the pool so was either in shorts or bathing suit and at night I would wear capris or sundresses. It was pretty hot for november. if you have any other questions let me know!
Thanks guys ! Im so excited I need a vacation sooo bad! We did the club option mostly because you get a romantic dinner on the beach ,and breakfast in bed so hopefully its worth it. Do you remember what types of rooms you stayed in ?
Just stayed in there basic room and had a garden view. We were on the 3rd floor towards back, section 9. When we went we couldnt go in the ocean, it was too rough. For our HM we are planning on staying at the Excellence in playa mujerer since we loved the resort so much and all there bar and restaurant options.
LOVE excellence!!!! dont know anything about excellence club we stayed in a regular room and it was fine....cant wait to go back!
