Does anyone have any feedback on this Excellence resort, or any other Excellence resort? We would be able to get a great all-inclusive 7-night package with them, but before I book, I'm trying to find out some info on them. Any feedback would be great. TIA!!!

My fiance and I stayed there this past Feb and loved it. The resort was really beautiful - we loved the pools - they were both huge - one more social with a great swim up bar and one more relaxing. The ocean and beach were AMAZING. Keep in mind though it is the ocean so it has pretty strong waves. We are used to that being from Long Island but it's not the serene Caribbean you can stand around in. We didn't mind that at all. The food was good too. Sometimes that can be tricky with an all inclusive but we liked the restaurants we went to very much. The people who work there are the NICEST and friendliest we've ever met at a resort. Genuinely were happy whenever you saw them and eager to make your stay great. There were shows each night (some were cute - some a little hokey) but it was nice to have some sort of entertainment if you wanted. Also a disco that we'd go to and dance for a little while late night. It is in a remote location so no other hotels near you (walking distance) - we didn't mind. The other thing we thought was really cute were the animals on the resort - in the front as you enter (and where you can walk around anytime) they have these hilarious parrotts and we'd visit them everyday and give them some food. They also have flamingos, turtles, chickens and beautiful peacocks. Very cool to see. Feel free to FM me with any specific questions but we really enjoyed it.

I went to Riu palace in Punta Cana and it was beautiful! Everything was great, I believe there was 5 resturants to choose from and every room has a balcony. We had a great time and the price wasnt too bad.

Casino and club on the resort 8 restaurants I believe 24 hour room service
Bigger casino and club right down the road. Walking distance to shopping
Amazing beaches. Not like the other girl said about it being a strong ocean...It is not as calm as Aruba but not rough at all and I am not an ocean person.

I just got back from Punta Cana. Fabulous! We stayed at the Punta Cana Princess and loved it. It was all inclusive and very inexpensive for all we got. A couple we met stayed at the Excellence and loved it.

for punta acan i highly recommend the majestic colonial resort, if you want i can email you pics, its a beautiful 5 star resort......me and FH even got bumped to the most expensive room there free of charge the staff is great......excellence is very nice, also 5 star, only different between it and most of the other resorts in punta cana, is that it is on the begining of the atlantic ocean side, so the beach and water is different there then the other PC resort, its much nice on the PC side, and Bavaro Beach side.......also, the Ibeostar and Barcelo resorts are really nice
